[Entry III] when the problem come...??

As we mention in the first entry that our group is going to do a animation with real people. But there is a problem right now !! Actually , it's not a big problem (it seem to be a problem) but it's that our group members can't meet together in the same day ,so I'm start to thinking of STOP MOTION. 

What is stop motion ?

- Stop Motion (or stop action) is an animation technique to make a physically manipulated object appear to move on its own. The object is moved in small increments between individually photographed frames, creating the illusion of movement when the series of frames is played as a continuous sequence.

Normally ,stop motion use cartoon character that make from Clay .But we can use paper also !!

Then, I started planning the script and discussing with group members. The main members of this project have to work hard as their duty !

We have 2 character designers, 1 photographer ,1 hand-model ,1 vdo editor ,1 directer .In fact ,the vdo editor is only one who have to work by her own (because her work,edit the vdo is the last thing to do !)

The only problem is that the Stop Motion usually take 2-3 minutes ,but we have to expand to 5 minutes ! Badly ,I think we can't !! 

[Entry II] Why Adobe ? How can we use it in this VDO Project ?

The programs that we're going to use are Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Audition and Adobe Premiere Pro.These 3 programs are not that easy to use but not that hard as well.

We're sure that everybody know about Photoshop ,some can use it really well ,some can use only simple command and some only know the name. Adobe Photoshop is a graphic editing program that very popular,now it is developed to CS5. You can use Photoshop in order to cut or trim picture, add effects ,drawing ,re-edit the whole picture even create the new one.

So, what are Adobe Audition and Adobe Premiere Pro? These 2 program ,not many people used them much in everyday live. Audition is about to edit the sound ,something like ringtone can be made by this program. And Premiere Pro is a program that use for making a VDO.

I, one of the group members ,once used Adobe audition when I was in high-school . It's about 3 years ago ,there was an role play which name "Fairy Tale Remix" (something like that). The story is about Disney's prince and princess from many famous disney's stories ,and I was the one who had to create the background music so I used Adobe Audition.

About Adobe Premiere Pro ,I can do a Karaoke by using this program , but it's not that good quality because I'm not used to it at all.

[Entry I] Step by Step

Plan : Our group thought about 2 choices of how we gonna do with our VDO project. First, we're thinking of normal vdo record (a simple vdo clip) and an animation. What's kind of animation we talk about? It's not a cartoon character but ourselves ! It's sound funny ,right ? Anyway ,there may be some problems because we don't have a high quality digital camera and also no one in our group has an experience about this before ! It's a kind of challenge.

Script : Actually ,if we decided to do an animation ,we don't need any conversation in our VDO .The script is about students who are rich and don't care about recycle unused computer ,then they throw it away .But another student will come to told them how important the green computing is and they will donated their unused computer to the one who need in the end.

Location : About the location ,we decided to use area around the CL building ,Library ,Hall of frames and the garden beside classroom buildings.

Program : There are 3 mains programs that we're going to use in this project, Adobe Photoshop ,Adobe Audition and Adobe Premiere Pro. The first one use to edit the picture, second is to edit the sound and the last one is to mix both pictures and sounds together and create a VDO.

Problems : As our plan in the paragraph one, none of us have experience about VDO or acting before, it's seem like we're really new to this thing. So we think that I may take long time to finish this VDO ,but we'll try our best !
